Inspired by the stars beneath our feet.

A simple house is pieced with the starfield. Illuminated from within at night the light will project an array of stars onto visitors and all nearby surfaces. During the day sunlight will create a play of stars & shadows within. The surrounding mirror field multiplies the images and reflects visitors as they circling along the curved path towards the entrance.

In urban settings, few stars are above. Only far from artificial lighting do the stars cover the sky. Ancient cultures worldwide read wisdom in the stars, tracked their movements, and developed methods to mark time. As creatures of those stars, our sun, and the earth itself we have no other real home, no other place of origin.
